The community’s annual South Bay “Crime Awareness Community Walk ” is scheduled Tuesday, August 2, at 4:15 p.m. The meeting place is the Robert Egger Sr. – South Bay Recreation Center (1881 Coronado Avenue, San Diego, CA 92154). The “Community Walk” will be led by SDPD (Southern Division) along with the Southwest High School Marching Band and their Cheerleaders and escorted by the SDPD (Southern Division) patrol cars. The path will be around the recreation center block and take approximately 20 minutes.
Afterwards, please join the community for South Bay’s 2016 National Night Out (Crime Prevention and Community Resource Fair). It is strongly recommended that you walk from your home for those of you who live near the recreation center.
Let us use Tuesday, August 2 to send a strong and crystal clear message to criminals that we are organized, that we care about the safety of our home, children, and other family members, and that we will not tolerate criminal activities in our neighborhoods.
